DMARC vendor alternatives
Proofpoint Email Fraud Defense is an enterprise DMARC product with hosted authentication services and large-scale lookalike domain discovery. Here is what to check before you replace it, and how to move without losing visibility.
It is a natural fit for organisations that already buy Proofpoint and want lookalike detection at its scale. Switching has a cost, so it is only worth doing if a gap below matters to you.
We did not find these on the Proofpoint EFD pages we checked on 2 November 2026. That does not mean they are missing, so ask Proofpoint EFD directly. This is where yourDMARC stands on each:
See every fact with its source in the full comparison with Proofpoint EFD.
Adding a second rua address changes nothing about delivery, so you can compare on your own domain before you decide.
Not if you overlap. A DMARC record can list more than one rua address, so add the new vendor next to the old one, compare the two, and remove the old address once you are satisfied.
Export or copy the published record values before you change anything, publish the same policy with the new provider, and repoint the record. Do not lower your policy during the move.
